How we work

A custom site at a clear price, and a monthly that keeps it current.

A base price for your custom website, no hidden fees, and a personality you can’t get from a drag-and-drop builder. The end result? A curated website that expresses your brand that looks great on desktop and mobile.

Two thousand to launch. After that the choice is yours — we can maintain your website for you, or you can keep it as is if you want to maintain it yourself. The Desk dashboard starts at eighty a month. One fifty is great for ecommerce sites.

  1. 01

    A fixed launch price

The site is two thousand dollars. Two revision rounds, then it goes live. No discovery phase billed as a product.

  2. 02

    A monthly that does work

Hosting, SSL, and a way to keep the site honest — Desk dashboard from eighty a month, or one fifty when you want the ecommerce-ready path.

  3. 03

    The page is the pitch

We build to the same craft as this page. Made for your shop — not a template with your name dropped in.

Launch / 01

The site is two thousand.

A custom one-pager built to the same craft as this page — made for your shop, not a template. Photos, the menu, and featured blocks can rotate after launch without a redesign.

$2,000

A custom one-pager — two revision rounds, then live. Hand the website off to us so it is not one more admin hat.

Built for your shop, not a Square site template. Competitive with builder hosting — custom work you do not have to run yourself.

Sign a yearly retainer at launch and the site is $1,500 — five hundred off. Not a standing discount.

What $2,000 holds

  • Custom one-pager Your rooms, your type, your board — not a purchased theme.
  • Two revision rounds Then a thirty-day polish window after launch.
  • Domain and first deploy SSL, hosting, the site actually goes live.
  • Rotating blocks, built in Photos, a menu carousel, a featured class or drop — sections you can turn over without a redesign.
  • Unlimited sections Unlimited sections at no extra cost.
  • You supply photos A shoot with us is extra. Phone pictures can be enough to start.

After launch

Sections that can turn over

The site is not a poster. These blocks are built to change — you send a photo or a note, or your staff use the desk.

  1. 01

    Photography

Swap a hero, a pour shot, a class portrait. The layout stays; the pictures change.

  2. 02

    Menu carousel

Seasonals that rotate. Last summer stays in the archive — no new PDF, no new page.

  3. 03

    Featured blocks

A guest roaster, a weekend drop, a class on the homepage. On, then off.

  4. 04

    The board

Drinks, prices, hours, the ticker. Desk dashboard from eighty; one fifty when ecommerce is the plan.

Stay / 02

Two ways to stay Basic or Desk.

A custom build needs a monthly — hosting, SEO, sitemap, and the admin of staying findable. Skipping it is almost unadvised: you would still pay Square-level builder prices and wear those hats yourself. Basic starts at eighty with the Desk dashboard and quarterly content. One fifty is great for ecommerce: unlimited edits, QR, social discounts, storefront-ready.

Basic

01

$79.99 per month

Desk dashboard included — hosting, SEO, sitemap, light maintenance, bug fixes, and quarterly photos. We handle the admin of being seen. Once a quarter we update section content — seasonals, board, hours, ticker, and other blocks.

  • Host, SSL, domain
  • SEO, sitemap, and findability admin
  • Desk dashboard included
  • Light maintenance & bug fixes
  • Quarterly photos
  • Quarterly content — sections, seasonals, board, hours, ticker

A la carte

Same visual language as the site. We design and print event flyers for you — class posters, seasonal cards, story sets — and deliver them in person. We also design social posts for your brand. Handouts from the same files when you need them at the counter.

Print is a la carte. If a monthly already covers a piece, skip these.

When you are ready

Classes and ordering, designed into the site.

These stay off the two thousand. A class is a calendar with seats. Beans and merch are a shop card that looks like yours — not a second brand.

Classes

Class calendar on the site

Seats, times, and a waitlist — designed into the page. Not a Square SKU pretending to be a class.

Retail

A product card in your language

Beans and merch with your type, your paper, your prices — not a generic cart theme.

$400–700 Shopify or Square Online, matched to the site. Desk is the default retainer when commerce ships.

Review Basic and Desk

Optional path

A handoff without a monthly

If owning the site yourself is non-negotiable, we can build the custom one-pager and hand it off — typically on Netlify under your account. Same $2,000 launch. No Desk, no SEO care, no content retainer from us.

After handoff, site edits are billed hourly and quoted before work starts. Bigger changes are scoped as one-off projects. There is no SLA — turnaround depends on the schedule.

What you take on

  • Stale board and seasonals Without quarterly updates or Desk, the site drifts from the letterboard. Guests trust the slats — a wrong page hurts.
  • Findability decays No sitemap or SEO upkeep from us. Search and “being seen” become your admin work.
  • Ops lands on you Netlify, DNS, domain renewals, SSL, failed deploys — another hat on the shop.
  • Breakage without a net A bad deploy or DNS change can take the site down with no retainer covering a fix.
  • Cost can climb A few hourly edits a year can approach Basic. Square-level builder pricing plus DIY work often costs more in time than Stay.

This path exists if you insist on owning ops. For almost every shop, Basic is the better call — still less than wearing the hats, and edits do not restart the meter every time.

FAQ

Common questions

01 Why is there a monthly?

A custom site needs hosting, SSL, SEO, a sitemap, and someone keeping it findable and current. The monthly covers that admin so it is not another hat you wear. Skipping it is almost unadvised — you would still pay Square-level builder prices and do the work yourself.

02 Can we skip the monthly?

Yes — a static handoff (e.g. Netlify under your account) is available if ownership is non-negotiable. Same $2,000 site; edits after that are hourly and quoted before work. You take DNS, hosting, and findability. Most shops are better on Basic. See “A handoff without a monthly” above.

03 What is the difference between Basic and Desk?

Basic is $79.99/mo with the Desk dashboard, hosting, SEO, and quarterly content updates (sections, seasonals, board, hours, ticker). Desk is $149.99/mo — built for ecommerce — with unlimited seasonal and board edits, custom QR, social discounts, and a storefront-ready path.

04 Can we split the $2,000 site fee?

Yes. The one-pager can be four monthly payments of $500. The retainer bills separately on Basic or Desk.

05 How is this different from a Square website?

Square builders are templates you maintain. This is a custom one-pager made for your shop — same craft as this proposal — with a monthly that handles hosting, findability, and updates so you can stay on the floor.

06 Who updates the board and seasonals?

On Basic, we do a quarterly content pass; the Desk dashboard is there if staff want to edit between. On Desk, your staff make unlimited edits themselves whenever the board or seasonals change. On a handoff with no monthly, every edit is hourly and quoted first.

07 What do we get if we pay yearly?

Two months free on the retainer, and $500 off the site if you sign the yearly at launch ($1,500 instead of $2,000).

How we work

  1. 01 Launch is the site. The monthly keeps it live, findable, and current — SEO, sitemap, hosting included.
  2. 02 Monthly is the default and strongly advised. A static handoff with hourly edits is available if you insist on owning ops — skipping Stay is almost unadvised.
  3. 03 Basic from $79.99 with the Desk dashboard, or $149.99 when ecommerce is the plan.
  4. 04 Board updates are marketing. If we hook Square later, the register stays source of truth for anything sold online.
  5. 05 A rotation swaps content in a block you already have. A new section is a quote.
